Okay. I’m getting bored with this. The line is still thick. I chatted with an “orange shirt” and she said that the wait was about 4 hours. Last year, people could buy an iPhone and be on their way home in less than 5 minutes. (but remember all of those at-home activation horror stories?) This year, activation is in-store and is taking a minimum of 15 minutes. It is that alone that is creating the long queues. Apple and Steve Jobs are going to need a better game plan next release.
