This has nothing to do with the password file entries. When vt100 launches it runs the login command with a flag to login as root. The cellular person is not allowed to login as root. You principally have to launch vt100 with root permissions. big Boss has a package that fixes this. set up SUID Lib repair under SUID Lib restore. That units the suid bit on login so that you can restore the issue. Now you will be able to use the foundation password to login when terminal prompts you. you may also want to install the BSD
