If you’re left-handed and you were worried that you wouldn’t be able to wear the fancy new Apple Watch, fear not. One of the benefits of its digital UI is that it’s reportedly easy to change the orientation of it in Settings as needed, which should also come in handy if you ever need to sell the thing.

Much of the Apple Watch’s UI focuses on using the crown on the side of the device, which understandably alarmed some lefties when they tried to imagine using it on their own wrists. According to Slashgear, you won’t even have to worry about the complications this could cause with the wristband.
“Apple tells us on initial setup, you can choose to have the watch face orient itself for use on the right wrist, making it friendly to lefties,” the site says. “The watch bands are also swappable, so your band isn’t facing the wrong way. Good news for everyone involved, but like most things in life, Lefties will still have to deal with a right-handed design — the crown will be on the bottom of the left side of the watch when on the right wrist.”
The big question, of course, is whether the lowered positioning of the crown will create any complications for left-handed users in practice.
