As mentioned by means of a number of users in our forum, Apple’s new iOS 6 Beta four simply launched to developers gets rid of the dedicated YouTube app that has been integrated on the iPhone running system considering the fact that its launch in 2007.

the reason for the elimination is unclear, even though hypothesis naturally turns to the strained relationship between Apple and Google. except for YouTube, Apple’s iOS 6 incorporates some other high-profile departure from Google’s products and services with Apple rolling out its own mapping and navigation service to displace Google.
YouTube videos can still be played through the embedded viewer, but the elimination of the dedicated YouTube app marks a big reduction in the prominence of Google on iOS.
update: The Verge experiences that Apple has issued a remark acknowledging the removal.
Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, buyers can use YouTube within the Safari browser and Google is engaged on a brand new YouTube app to be on the App retailer.
update: Peter Kafka from All things Dpasses on this remark from YouTube:
we are working with Apple to make sure we’ve got the very best imaginable YouTube expertise for iOS users.
