Bloomberg West profiles Ed Summers, who, as head of accessibility at global instrument company SAS, “has made it his mission to help different visually impaired folks liberate the ability of the iPad.” Summers is touring around the united states to teach educators learn how to maximize the instrument’s constructed-in accessibility features in their lecture rooms. Bloomberg notes that pills are growing in reputation among educators, and Summers says iPad is “opening up an entire world” for visually impaired college students. “We’re working to make sure that students and mavens of all talents can achieve the classroom and the 21st-century data financial system,” Summers says.
