“The 17-inch MacBook professional is my primary computer,” says Brian Cox. A particle physicist, Cox works on the CERN huge Hadron Collider, which scientists will soon use to check out to recreate the “large Bang.” Cox uses the Mac as a result of it could run each UNIX for research and productiveness apps for the whole thing else. And he’s not alone. “while you go searching a physics convention now,” he says, “you see extra Macs than anything else.”
